on the investigation of complex plant structures in 3-D and the application of spatial biology methods in
plants and insects. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing innovative methodologies,
particularly in the area of Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy (CLSM) technologies including fluorescence
lifetime measurements, life imaging and multiplexing techniques. The successful candidate should have
solid expertise with microscopy, imaging analysis methods, and a strong motivation to advance innovative
imaging approaches.
The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano is located in one of the most fascinating European regions, at the
crossroads between the German-speaking and Italian cultures. Its trilingualism in teaching and research,
its high level of internationalization as well as an ideal study environment guaranteed by its excellent
facilities are some of the reasons why unibz regularly reaches top positions in national and international
rankings. We are member of the Competence Centre for Plant Health, a joint institution which consists of
several research groups in the field of Biology, Agricultural Sciences and Engineering.
