The mesoSPIM Initiative
Posted on 29 August 2024
mesoSPIM (mesoscale selective plane illumination microscopy) is a modular open-source light-sheet microscope designed to image large cleared biological samples. The initiative aims to put these microscopes in the hands of biologists and also to provide a platform for instrument developers to develop additional microscopes uniquely built around specific imaging requirements. The project team includes Fritjof Helmchen, Fabian Voigt and Nikita Vladimirov. The locations of all the known mesoSPIM are displayed on the website. The website includes the documentation for benchtop mesoSPIM, mesoSPIM version5, sample mounting and the open software, mesoSPIM-control.
