MiFoBio is a multidisciplinary school focusing on biological and technological advances for life imaging and quantification. Microscopy and combined imaging techniques, image analysis and results modeling constitute a continuum of knowledge and know-how that are the core of this school.
Light Microscopy Summer School 2020
An annual three-day course held at the University of York covering the principles of light microscopy. Participants are also trained in practical issues surrounding light microscopy. After introductory presentations, the course is taught predominantly through hands-on practical sessions.
Microscopy Characterisation of organic-inorganic Interfaces 2020
The meeting is dedicated to microscopy of materials comprised of both organic and inorganic constituents (in close proximity) and is aimed at bringing together experts from both the life science and materials science communities to address this topic.
Frontiers in BioImaging 2020 – (New dates)
Meeting for both new and established researchers to engage with a broad range of imaging approaches and to make valuable contacts with leading groups in the field. There will be an exhibition held alongside for posters and refreshments.
The XVIIth International Conference on Electron Microscopy
The Conference will provide a platform for electron microscopists, crystallographers, materials scientists, and solid state physicists to discuss methods and techniques used in electron microscopy.
The ‘International Conference On Nanoscopy 2021’ will uniquely and exclusively focus on super-resolution microscopy and its biological application.
Core Technologies for Life Sciences 2021
Core Facilities’ emergent role inevitably entails new paradigms regarding their scope and structure. The CTLS2020 conference aims to address several of these points, contributing to shape the future of the technical and scientific landscape of life sciences in Europe.
