Postdoctoral Scholarship In Optical Engineering For Life Science Research

Norlin lab is expanding and seeking new team members.
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow in optics engineering and microscopy driving and or supporting projects in light-sheet/oblique plane microscopy, lensless-, smart- and light-field microscopy. In these highly collaborative projects, you will have the chance to develop novel microscopy techniques to cover new grounds in single cell and tissue biology. The lab is located at the department of experimental medical science and has extensive collaborations with researchers at the medical faculty as well as Nanolund and the Lund university bioimaging centre.  
We’re seeking candidates with a Ph.D. in optics engineering, light microscopy, or related fields with practical experience in building optical setups. Knowledge of molecular biology / life science is recommended but no requirement. We are looking for an openminded, positive and self-motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
