Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or 2 in Microbiology Imaging, UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering

This postdoctoral position will play an important role in a European Research Council (ERC) funded project. A key aim of this project is to develop new mechanistic insight in the interaction between biofilms and aggregates/particulates. The project relies heavily on advanced microscopy, particularly confocal scanning laser microscopy (CSLM). This is a five year research programme and is based in the UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering.
