Platform Technical Lead

Role Summary
This position requires rich experience in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics assessment. The platform technical lead needs to be familiar with most processes of preclinical PK/PD analysis, and have experience in PK/PD project design, experimental team formation, and laboratory management. The candidate will help Creative Biolabs expand the PK/PD assessment contract business. Excellent communication, collaboration, strategic thinking, decision making, negotiation, and influencing skills, and the ability to solve complex problems and manage complex projects are required.

Position Responsibilities
Play a key role in developing new strategies, techniques, and instruments for new ventures and critical issues in the preclinical PK/PD area.
Lead cross-functional Technical Development Teams.
Establish a novel preclinical PK/PD analysis platform.
Design and execute novel technical development strategies that enable successful licensure of novel modalities (e.g., novel/advanced safety assessment technology), and build new capabilities for the company (e.g., establishment of new technologies, process development and/or manufacturing facilities).
Contribute to long-range planning and technical policies of the department.

Education and Experience
Advanced degree in pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics or a related discipline in pharmaceutical sciences.
Recognized by research peers as an expert in a selected technical field.
5-7 years of experience in preclinical drug discovery and development, including small molecule and protein/monoclonal antibody therapeutics.

Technical Skill Requirements
Highly skilled in conducting research, data interpretation, and writing reports.
Ability to design and execute preclinical PK/PD analysis projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with success in influencing others in cross-functional areas.
Proven ability to work proactively and think strategically.
