Description of this position:
The Center for Core facilities (CCF), Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen is seeking an experienced strategic leader to build, integrate, and evolve a multimodal bioimaging research infrastructure that bridges imaging modalities, data analysis platforms, and translational research applications across CFIB to:
- lead the strategic development, operational management, and scientific direction of the facility,
- drive the creation and financial sustainability of methods development projects that support world-class bioimaging-based research,
- integrate high-end bioimaging technologies into relevant education programs/activities.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary mission of this role is to create scientific, technical, and organizational bridges between diverse bioimaging and analytical platforms, and research communities.
The CFIB Director’s responsibilities will primarily consist of:
Leadership and Research Infrastructure Management and Technology, method and service strategic development.
