Posted on 31 August 2026

Location: Kgs. Lyngby

Closing Date: 30 September 2026

At VISION, DTU Physics, we are recruiting Postdocs to push the frontier of live, atomic‑scale electron microscopy.
If you are driven to observe catalysts in action — atom by atom, in real time, under realistic conditions — this position offers a unique opportunity to work with state‑of‑the‑art operando TEM and contribute to fundamental discoveries at the intersection of catalysis, materials science, chemistry and quantum science.
As a Postdoc in VISION, you will join a highly collaborative and international research environment where advanced electron microscopy, spectroscopy, microfabricated reactors, catalysis, cluster science and computational modelling come together to reveal how catalytic materials function at the atomic scale. You will use the new VISION PRIME microscope to explore dynamic restructuring processes, gas–surface interactions and active‑site formation under realistic reaction conditions.
This role is ideal for ambitious researchers who want to shape the future of “live” electron microscopy and build a strong foundation for an independent academic or industrial research career.
