I was a graduate student at UCSD with Kit Pogliano and Elizabeth Villa and just completed my grad school. During my PhD, I looked at molecular machineries that help bacteria grow and divide using new modalities in the field of cryo-electron microscopy. I am now a postdoc with Michael Fischbach at Stanford University studying the gut microbiome.
