Course on “Time-resolved Microscopy and Correlation Spectroscopy”
The course provides an in-depth introduction to the world of time-resolved fluorescence microscopy with a focus on life science applications. The program combines lectures by experts in the field with interactive practical sessions on systems from market-leading companies.
EMBL Course – Fluorescence imaging beyond intensity
As fluorescence lifetime-based readouts become more accessible, this course aims to provide a broad understanding of how the lifetime-based information can be leveraged to solve biological questions.
ESRIC Super-Resolution Summer School
This course gives participants a thorough grounding in super-resolution microscopy in an informal and intimate setting. It brings together leading academics and microscope suppliers to provide expertise and guidance in the theory, practise and analysis of all major super-resolution techniques.
September 2023
Confocal Microscopy Course
An intensive, hands-on, four-day training course in the rapidly developing techniques of confocal microscopy.
The course will initially cover basic confocal but then swiftly move on to the more advanced techniques such as FRAP, FRET and spectral unmixing.
October 2023
Single Molecule Microscopy and Manipulation
Hands-on training on selected single-molecule experimental techniques and data analysis, belonging to group of methods known as quantitative bioimaging.
- Optical tweezers
- TIRF
- Single particle tracking (1D and 2D)
- DNA-PAINT
- Point FCS (including its variants: FCCS and FLCS)
- STED-FCS
- Line-scanning FCS
November 2023
3D-CLEM Imaging function and ultrastructure
Practical hands-on training on 3D correlative light and electron microscopy combining confocal fluorescence imaging and electron microscopy imaging contain focused ion beam milling (FIB-SEM) and electron tomography (ET).
