Biomedical Consultant / Field Application Scientist (post-doctoral)

We are seeking a scientifically trained specialist who can identify research needs, initiate meaningful conversations, and guide prospects from first contact through onboarding. You will work directly with researchers to uncover how microscopy and image analysis can accelerate their work, demonstrate how Cytely can provide value, and ensure a smooth handoff into the platform. This role combines scientific credibility with relationship-building and will involve close collaboration with our applications and product teams.

Key Responsibilities
– Prospect and qualify potential customers, identifying research pain points.
– Lead early-stage discussions to align Cytely’s platform with customer needs.
– Design tailored onboarding experiences, ensuring new users adopt successfully.
– Represent Cytely at meetings, conferences, and presentations.
– Contribute to customer-facing content such as case studies, campaigns, and educational material.

Qualifications
– Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in biomedical sciences or related field.
– Hands-on experience with microscopy hardware and software.
– Strong understanding of image analysis and segmentation workflows.
– Proven ability to communicate complex scientific ideas to diverse audiences.
– Comfortable in customer-facing settings, with willingness to travel.
