Technical Specialist, Flow Cytometry, Haematology Laboratory

We are looking for an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Haematology Flow Cytometry team at LabPlus, Auckland City Hospital, in Auckland, New Zealand.
The position is a Technical Specialist in the flow cytometry section.
This position works in a team of Medical Laboratory Scientists and other Technical Specialists, with the support and oversight of a Scientific Leader, Section Leader and Laboratory Haematologists.
You will have experience working in a clinical flow cytometry laboratory service, with an interest in developing and adapting to evolving technologies. A working knowledge of a range of computer applications would be advantageous, as would experience in setting up flow cytometry assays.
You are a proactive and forward-thinking individual who takes pride in delivering work to a high standard, with strong attention to detail and effective organisational skills. You communicate clearly and confidently, enjoy working with people and teaching, and contribute positively as part of a collaborative team. The ability to remain calm, flexible, and effective when working in a busy laboratory environment is essential.
