Emergent models and quantitative analysis of cell migration

About

Inspired by the successful Cell Migration series that kept scientists connected during the pandemic, we launched the FocalPlane features… emergent models and quantitative analysis of cell migration in June 2026. This series is hosted by Pablo J. Sáez and Valeria Venturini. The webinars will take place every three months and we invite the cell migration community to apply to present their work in the series.

The goal of the series is to bring the community during periods in between major cell migration conferences and to connect researchers that are not able to attend those events. Under the name ‘Emergent models and quantitative analysis of cell migration’, we aim to highlight new experimental models and quantitative approaches to study cell migration.
Diversity, inclusivity and promotion of early-career researchers will be at the core of this series, fostering exchange, discussions and collaboration across disciplines.
