Euro-BioImaging has a Scientific Ambassador program!
Posted by Marianna Poli, on 16 October 2023
We are delighted to announce that Euro-BioImaging has launched a Scientific Ambassador program. This program will raise awareness about the services and opportunities provided by Euro-BioImaging, by engaging with new communities.
Through their advocacy and engagement, Scientific Ambassadors help foster a greater understanding of Euro-BioImaging services, making imaging technologies more accessible for researchers and creating opportunities for collaboration, scientific advancement, and innovation in the field of bioimaging.
In return, Euro-BioImaging will support the Scientific Ambassadors, offering them training, visibility, growth and networking opportunities. The first Scientific Ambassadors will be selected by a panel of Euro-BioImaging Hub team members in February 2024.
If you are interested in applying or want to know more about the program, please visit our webpage. Application deadline is November 15, 2023.
About Euro-BioImaging
Euro-BioImaging is the European landmark research infrastructure for biological and biomedical imaging as recognised by the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI). Through Euro-BioImaging, life scientists can access imaging instruments, expertise, training opportunities and data management services that they might not find at their home institutions or among their collaboration partners. All scientists, regardless of their affiliation, area of expertise or field of activity can benefit from these pan-European open access services, which are provided with high quality standards by leading imaging facilities.
The fully distributed infrastructure of Euro-BioImaging is coordinated by a Hub and offers its services via 35 internationally renowned imaging facilities called Nodes, which are located across 16 countries and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, EMBL. In this way, Euro-BioImaging provides access to 173 imaging facilities across Europe.
