Posted by FocalPlane, on 6 December 2024
The Biologists @ 100 conference includes an early-career researcher (ECR) session on Monday 24 March, organised by British Society for Cell Biology (BSCB) and British Society for Developmental Biology (BSDB) ECR reps Anahi Binagui-Casas, Emily Lucas and Aymen al-Rawi and The Company of Biologists. The workshop focusses on career opportunities inside and outside of academia.
The keynote speaker is Richard Sever, the co-founder of bioRxiv and medRxiv. Richard will be joined by professionals from a diverse spread of career paths to discuss how skills developed during post-graduate study and the start of your research career can be applied in a number of different roles. They’ll be time for networking at the event and at the dinner following the main conference’s welcome reception.
