Posted by Ethan A. Perets, on 2 February 2026
The next BioImaging North America and Canada BioImaging STED user group (henceforth the “Nanoscopy User Group”, see note below) will take place via Zoom on February 12 at 12 PM ET/11 AM CT/9 AM PT.
Christina Pyrgaki (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center) will deliver the presentation “MINFLUX Microscopy in a Core Facility: Early Experience and Considerations”.
Thomas Stroh (McGill University) will deliver the presentation “Nanoscopic Imaging of Structural Synaptic Changes Linked to Endogenous Hormonal Secretion Rhythms in the Rodent Hypothalamus”.
This user group welcomes practitioners of STED and super-resolution microscopies of all experience levels, and aims to give all members of the community a chance to share insights by facilitating open discussion. Interested participants should register here to receive the Zoom link prior to the meeting.
N.B. Following a community-wide poll, the STED User Group will henceforth be the “Nanoscopy User Group”, reflecting the expansion of our mandate to cover a wider variety of fluorescence-based bioimaging techniques enabling sub-100 nm resolution.
