BINA Award Nominations Open Until May 1

BINA now has four annual awards- two that are new for 2026!
Michael W. Davidson Memorial Award- honors a highly innovative and multi-talented researcher, who recognized the power of communicating science through images.
Richard & Rosaria Haugland Industry Award- recognizes individuals in the imaging industry sector who advance the bioimaging community through innovation, impact, education and mentorship, and community engagement.
Wayne S. Rasband Open Source Imaging Award- recognizes individuals advancing open source imaging software or hardware by making tools freely accessible, modifiable, and impactful for the bioimaging community
Mary Ann Booth Early Career Award- recognizes early career scientists- graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, recent graduates, and emerging professionals within 6 years of post terminal degree, in the bioimaging and bioimage analysis sectors. This award is a compliment of the Michael W. Davidson Memorial Award.
Award winners receive a trip to the 2026 BINA Community Congress- held Sept 27-Oct 2, 2026 in Madison WI.
