JCS-FocalPlane Training Grants

We are excited to launch our new JCS-FocalPlane Training Grants. Early-career researchers in cell biology can apply for grants of up to £1,000 to support their attendance at microscopy courses, including bioimage analysis courses. These training grants can be used to cover the registration fees, accommodation and/or travel costs and are designed to support those who wouldn’t otherwise have sufficient funding to attend.
Our first round application deadline is 7 June 2024, and we’ll have two further rounds this year. You can find our application handbook and FAQs here, and if you have any further questions, you can contact us at focalplane@biologists.com.
